SHERMAN PARK RISING – 4715 W. Center St. Milwaukee, WI
This mural was created with input and participation from over 150 community members following a summer of unrest and tragedy. It reflects coming together to create a hopeful future. The mural includes narratives and images that were sketched by residents themselves during community input workshops for the design. The project was documented to create a short film, “Sherman Park Rising”, which can be viewed below.
Funded by the City of Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services in partnership with Safe and Sound, Inc. (17’x56’ Acrylic on exterior brick, Milwaukee, WI 2017)
